Water Safety
There are no restrictions on scuba diving in the area either from boats or shore diving. In the case of scuba diving near the shore, be sure to use surface marker buoys (SMBs) and/or make visible Diver Down flags if boat diving.
There are no cylinder/tank refill options available at Seaton but are available at Bridport Harbour: Air & Nitrox- Lyme Regis Harbour
Scuba diving is effectively prohibited within the harbour limits, which also extend offshore. Harbour Limits are defined within the provisions of the Axmouth Harbour Act (1998 revision), extending 180m seaward from the entrance and is the area marked green on the map below.
