Community Grants Scheme

Seaton Town Council sets aside a budget each year to support local organizations, via its Community Grants Scheme. All requests for financial assistance should be made using the grant application form, which should be completed and returned via email to deputyclerk@seaton.gov.uk or posted to Seaton Town Council, Marshlands, Harbour Road, Seaton, EX12 2LT. No other form of request will be considered.

The Council’s has produced a comprehensive policy document on the Scheme including guidelines on grant funding to assist organizations in preparing their applications.

Applications are considered at the Council’s meetings throughout the year, but has a limited budget, therefore early applications are advisable. Once an application is received from a group or organization, no further application will usually be considered from the same group or organization for a period of 2 years from the date a grant is made in respect of that application.

SHOPFRONT IMPROVEMENTS GRANTS – this scheme was established to support businesses through the pandemic to improve their premises frontages. The scheme closed on 19 July 2021.
