Become a Councillor

Seaton Town Council currently has TWO vacancies. The application process for co-option is now open. If you have further questions, or would like an application form, then please contact Julia Mutlow (Town Clerk) at townclerk@seaton.gov.uk or by telephone on 01297 21388.

When vacancies arise, the Council is looking for people interested in local current affairs who would like to get involved and serve their community. Please read the document ‘Becoming a Seaton Town Councillor’ for more information on what being a councillor involves.

Applicants will be invited to meet with existing Seaton Town Councillors, to give a brief  presentation on why they would like to become a councillor. The Council will then decide whether to co-opt applicants.
