***Seaton Library Opening Hours – Seaton Town Council Response***

Seaton Town Council has formally submitted a response to Devon County Council’s consultation on the proposed reductions to Seaton Library opening hours. The response expresses strong opposition on behalf of the Seaton community.

Councillors have highlighted how important the library is for the local community — it offers not only access to books but also to film show events, educational support, a community larder, a warm space and more. Seaton Town Council is asking Devon County Council to review the data behind the proposals and ensure Seaton’s needs are properly reflected.

You can read the full response in the graphic below.

Seaton residents are encouraged to take part in the consultation and make their views heard. The consultation can be accessed here devon.cc/your-libraries Your voice matters in protecting this valued community resource.
