Coach Friendly
As Seaton awaits confimation that it has officially become a ‘Coach Friendly’ town, there has never been a more important time for tourists to visit East Devon and include an excursion to our beautiful seaside town. Coaches are a popular form of transport and – carrying around 50 passengers at a time – can help reduce congestion in and around towns and cities and free up car parking spaces for local residents and visitors alike. Passengers can be easily dropped off at the coach park, or by the roundabout in Marine Place, and drivers and passengers will be made welcome in many establishments.
Enjoy morning coffee, lunch or afternoon tea. The town centre has some wonderful cafés, pubs and restaurants, all of whom will be delighted to welcome visitors. Coach drivers please call ahead to ensure availability for your group, so all can be welcomed and well taken care of.
Seaton welcomes coach travellers, who help the local economy by visiting local shops and eateries and staying in the town’s array of accommodation. Seaton has much to offer – from overnight stays to interesting day visits, markets to museums and major local attractions such as Seaton Tramway, Seaton Jurassic and the stunning natural landscape and flat seafront, making it accessible to all.
We are proud to have Seaton as a tourist destination included in the current November issue of Coach Tours UK magazine.
