Become a Seaton Town Councillor

UPDATE – 28 May 2024

Seaton Town Council currently has ONE vacancy. The application process for co-option will be announced in due course, should a by-election not be called.

When vacancies arise, the Council is looking for people interested in local current affairs who would like to get involved and serve their community. Please read the document ‘Becoming a Seaton Town Councillor’ for more information on what being a councillor involves. If you have further questions, or would like an application form then please contact Julia Mutlow (Town Clerk) at townclerk@seaton.gov.uk or by telephone on 01297 21388.

If the co-option process is invoked than applicants will be invited to meet with existing Seaton Town Councillors, to give a brief  presentation on why they would like to become a councillor. The Council will then decide whether to co-opt applicants.
