Become a Seaton Town Councillor

SEATON TOWN COUNCIL CURRENTLY HAS TWO CASUAL VACANCIES  AVAILABLE FOR CO-OPTION AND A THIRD CASUAL VACANCY FOR WHICH AN AN ELECTION HAS BEEN CALLED.

When vacancies arise, the Council is looking for people interested in local current affairs who would like to get involved and serve their community. Please read the document ‘Becoming a Seaton Town Councillor’ for more information on what being a councillor involves.

Applicants will be invited to meet with existing Seaton Town Councillors, to give a brief  presentation on why they would like to become a councillor. The Council will then decide whether to co-opt applicants.
