Jenny’s background was originally in computer programming, working for a number of well-known companies. In 1992, using the skills acquired, she and her husband set up their own mail-order printing business from scratch with no external funding and rapidly
forged successful relationships with many publishers, organisations and charities quite apart from over 50,000 direct customers. The business was well-known where it was based and the major local employer – including her 70+ year old mum who enjoyed a whole new and unexpected career. Understanding and caring for the needs of employees stood her in good stead.
Jenny enjoys participating in local organisations. She is an active member of the Art Society, current Secretary of the Twinning Association, belongs to the Axe Yacht Club and is an enthusiastic council allotment holder. She has fulfilled her dream of studying for a BA with the Open University and has an honours degree in Literature. Currently she is studying for a second degree in Arts and Humanities. Her philosophy is to use her acquired skills to understand the needs of others, see their point of view and then see how she can be of assistance.
About Seaton, Devon
Seaton is the only gateway town to the Jurassic coast where rocks from all three geological periods can be viewed in their natural environment: fossil bearing Jurassic rocks to the east, the vibrant Triassic cliffs just before Seaton harbour and the striking white outcrop of Cretaceous chalk cliffs of Beer.
